2. Spammers Will be Spanked

You know those spammers that we all love to hate?  Well, new Google efforts are aimed at de-indexing link spammers.  For some SEOs, that’s bad news.  For the rest of us, hats off to Google!

3. Hackers Will be Hacked

Google is improving their methods of detecting hacked websites.  A new system of detection will be implemented this year.

4. Panda Pounces on Pathetic Pages (oh yeah, that just happened!)

The new Panda update will employ some new techniques to identify a website’s quality.  This is good news for those who strive to provide good content.

5. The Good Guys Win

Those websites that provide useful, authentic information will now gain authority on particular topics.  This effort helps the good guys maintain authority and prevents black-hat SEOs from taking over keywords.
